Turkey Roll-Ups with Boiled Eggs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Tortilla Wrap
  • Cream Cheese
  • 2 Turkey Slices
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Bellpeppers
  • 2 Eggs

Steps

  1. Lay one tortilla flat on a cutting board and spread a thick layer of cream cheese all the way to the edges.
  2. Lay two slices of turkey on top of the cream cheese, making sure they are evenly distributed.
  3. Sprinkle some chopped bell peppers on top of the turkey slices.
  4. Starting at one end of the tortilla, roll tightly towards the filling. Make sure to tuck in the sides as you roll so that the filling is tightly wrapped and the cream cheese holds the roll-up together.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
  6. Wrap each tortilla roll-up tightly in plastic wrap.
  7. Chill the wrapped roll-ups in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will help the cream cheese set and the roll-ups will hold their shape better.
  8. To serve, trim any unfilled ends away. Slice each tortilla into 8 equal pieces.

    Steps for Boiled Eggs:
  9. In a medium-sized pot, add enough water to cover the eggs by about an inch.

  10. Place the pot over high heat and bring the water to a boil.

  11. Once the water is boiling, gently lower the eggs into the pot using a slotted spoon.

  12. Set a timer for 6 minutes for soft-boiled eggs or 12 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.

  13. Once the timer goes off, use the slotted spoon to transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool.

  14. After a few minutes, gently tap the eggs on the counter to crack the shells, then peel them under cold running water.

  15. Serve eggs as a side dish for the Turkey Roll-Ups
