Italian Pesto Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Pasta
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Tomato
  • 1 Tbsp Garlice Paste
  • 2 Tbsp Pesto Sauce
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Salt To Taste
  • Black Pepper 

Steps

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a large saucepan.
  2. Add 1 cup of pasta and a big pinch of salt to the boiling water. Cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes or until al-dente.
  3. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  4. In a separate pan, heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Add 1/4 cup of chopped onion, 1/4 cup of chopped tomato and 1 Tbsp of garlic paste to the pan.
  6. Saute the vegetables for a minute or so, until they begin to soften.
  7. Add salt, pepper and some Italian seasoning to the pan.
  8. Stir in 2 Tbsp of pesto sauce and the cooked pasta.
  9. Mix everything together well, and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
