Italian Pesto Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Pasta
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Tomato
- 1 Tbsp Garlice Paste
- 2 Tbsp Pesto Sauce
- Italian Seasoning
- Salt To Taste
- Black Pepper
Steps
- Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a large saucepan.
- Add 1 cup of pasta and a big pinch of salt to the boiling water. Cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes or until al-dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
- In a separate pan, heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add 1/4 cup of chopped onion, 1/4 cup of chopped tomato and 1 Tbsp of garlic paste to the pan.
- Saute the vegetables for a minute or so, until they begin to soften.
- Add salt, pepper and some Italian seasoning to the pan.
- Stir in 2 Tbsp of pesto sauce and the cooked pasta.
- Mix everything together well, and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
